Buying advice: who should choose the Mach1 MV 130
We recommend the MV 130 to skiers who have very strong technique and can actively flex a 130 cuff. If you cannot create enough pressure, a 110-flex boot often works better.
It is especially attractive for ambitious piste skiers, coaches, Masters and former racers with normal-width feet when LV is too tight and HV too roomy.
Comparison
Mach1 MV 130 or MV LTD?
The core is nearly identical: 100 mm, flex 130, Grilamid®/Carbon cuff and GripWalk. The MV 130 weighs 1,905 g, while the MV LTD is 1,890 g and adds a C.A.S. Floating Tongue. If you do not need that extra customisation, the standard MV 130 is already a very strong high-performance boot.
Bootfitting
Fitting and bootfitting note
The C.A.S. shell and Full C.A.S. liner are designed for targeted fitting. Tecnica specifies 80 °C for 8 minutes for liner heat moulding; it can also be punched, ground by up to about 2 mm or tightened with Fit Kit elements. The shell can be locally expanded as well.
Use GripWalk ISO 23223 only with compatible bindings. With flex 130, a proper shell check is especially important – an oversized boot does not become precise simply because it is stiff.

Is the Mach1 MV 130 a race boot?
No. It is a high-performance on-piste/all-mountain boot. It feels race-oriented but is more versatile than a true plug race boot.
What is the difference between MV and LV?
MV uses a 100 mm last for normal/medium feet. LV is 98 mm for narrower feet or maximum precision and support.
What does T-Drive 2.0 do?
It reduces shell deformation, improves forward power transfer and supports more consistent flex across temperature changes.
What size should I choose?
Do not choose by street-shoe size. Mondopoint, shell check, heel, instep and foot width all matter.
