Since 2005
Shaped by ski racing, built for performance skiers
SF Sports has existed since 2005. From the beginning, the goal was not to sell as many products as possible, but to advise skiers better and tune equipment properly.
Franz Simmerl’s background in ski racing still defines our work today: ski service, race ski service, boot fitting and equipment are not treated as isolated topics, but as parts of a complete setup.
Today, SF Sports is a specialist address for racers, junior athletes, clubs, coaches, performance skiers and ambitious winter sports enthusiasts from Gilching, Munich, Starnberg, Germering, Fürstenfeldbruck and the Fünfseenland region.

Since 2005, SF Sports has stood for personal advice, high-quality ski equipment and professional workshop service in Gilching near Munich.
Service technician for the German Paralympic Team
From 2008 to 2014, Franz Simmerl worked as a service technician for the German Paralympic Team.
Paralympic Games in Vancouver and Sochi
Participation in the Paralympic Games in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014, with direct responsibility for service and equipment.
Service partner of the Tecnica Group
SF Sports has been a service partner of the Tecnica Group since 2010.
Part of the German Ski Association’s R&D team
Since 2018, Franz Simmerl has been part of the German Ski Association’s R&D team, contributing experience in material development, service and junior racing.
Coach at TSV Gilching and in the Munich Ski Association
Before his work with the German Paralympic Team, Franz Simmerl coached at TSV Gilching and later in the Munich Ski Association. That period shaped his direct connection to junior racers, clubs, parents and athletic development.
