The Tecnica Mach1 MV 115 W TD2 GW is built for expert women who want a precise high-performance fit without going extremely narrow. A 100 mm mid-volume last, flex 115, T-Drive 2.0, W.S.D. C.A.S. liner and lightweight Grilamid®/Carbon cuff create powerful, responsive ski boots for firm snow and speed.
Technical Setup
Performance on Snow
More room than the 98 mm LV while remaining athletic and defined.
Tecnica places women's flex 115 in the Stiff category for expert and sporty skiers.
The shell-to-cuff connection improves forward power transfer and reduces unwanted shell deformation.
The co-injected cuff is light, stiff and responsive, keeping the boot precise at speed.
The women's-specific anatomical liner delivers strong heel hold and targeted customisation.
Despite the athletic flex, entry and exit remain practical in cold conditions.
SF Sports Buying Advice
We recommend the MV 115 W to women who ski very athletically, can genuinely use a 115 flex and have normal-width to medium-volume feet.
It is particularly useful for ambitious piste skiers, coaches, Masters and former racers who find LV too tight but want much more support than a 105 provides.
Comparison
The two boots are technically very close: the same 115 flex, W.S.D. Grilamid®/Carbon cuff and high-performance C.A.S. liner. The key difference is fit: MV is 100 mm, LV 98 mm. The MV is only about 20 g heavier, so foot shape should make the decision.
Bootfitting
A 100 mm mid-volume shell should still not be oversized. Heel and instep hold must remain precise. The C.A.S. liner can be heat moulded at 80 °C for 8 minutes, punched locally, ground by up to about 2 mm or tightened with Fit Kit elements. The C.A.S. shell can be locally expanded.
FAQ
Very experienced, athletic women with normal-width to medium-volume feet who want a precise 100 mm fit and flex 115.
Yes. Tecnica places women's flex 115–95 in its Stiff category for expert and sporty skiers.
The main difference is last width: MV 100 mm, LV 98 mm. Flex, cuff and high-performance liner are very similar.
It connects shell and cuff, improves forward power transfer and reduces unwanted shell deformation.
The 115 W is clearly more performance oriented, with a stiffer flex, Grilamid®/Carbon cuff and high-performance C.A.S. liner.
Do not choose by street-shoe size. Mondopoint, shell check, heel, instep and width all matter.
Yes. The C.A.S. shell and liner are designed for professional bootfitting.
SF Sports
We assess technique, speed, strength and foot shape – not only flex and model name.
A 100 mm MV only works precisely when heel, instep and shell length are correct.
LV or MV should be chosen by foot shape, not image.
If 105 suits you better than 115, that is the right choice.
We understand the difference between sporty piste boots, race-oriented setups and true plug boots.
The fit can be fine-tuned after the first days on snow.
