100 mm Mid Volume
More precise than high volume but more forgiving than LV. For many normal-width feet, this is the most useful middle ground.

The Tecnica Mach1 MV 110 TD2 GW is built for sporty skiers who want a precise 100 mm mid-volume fit without the unnecessary stiffness of a 130-flex boot. Flex 110, T-Drive 2.0, C.A.S. shell, Performance C.A.S. liner and GripWalk make these ski boots a balanced choice for piste, all-mountain and technical alpine skiing.
Technical Setup
Performance on Snow
More precise than high volume but more forgiving than LV. For many normal-width feet, this is the most useful middle ground.
Supportive enough for firm snow and good edge control, but easier to work than a 130 flex.
The shell-to-cuff connection reduces unwanted deformation, improves forward power transfer and supports more consistent flex.
The anatomical liner holds the heel securely and can be heat moulded, punched, ground or tightened with Fit Kit elements.
The cuff provides defined support while remaining more accessible than the stiffer Grilamid®/Carbon constructions used in 130-flex models.
Entry and exit stay practical, which matters on cold mornings and long ski days.
SF Sports Buying Advice
We recommend the MV 110 to skiers who ski athletically but still want to move the boot actively. Strong parallel turns, controlled speed and solid edge control are enough to benefit from its precision.
It is particularly attractive for ambitious piste skiers, coaches who spend long days on snow and former racers who now prefer a slightly more accessible setup.
Comparison
The MV 110 is easier to flex and less tiring. The MV 130 gives more resistance and is aimed at very powerful experts. If you cannot actively flex a 130 cuff, the extra stiffness does not add performance.
Bootfitting
Even at 100 mm, sizing should not be generous. Heel and instep hold still matter. The C.A.S. liner can be heat moulded at 80 °C for 8 minutes, locally punched, ground by up to about 2 mm or tightened with Fit Kit elements. The C.A.S. shell can also be expanded locally.
FAQ
Advanced to expert skiers with normal-width to medium-volume feet who want a precise 100 mm fit and flex 110.
Yes. Tecnica classifies 110 as Medium. For many athletic skiers it provides enough support while remaining easier to flex than a 130.
The MV 110 is easier to flex and less tiring. The MV 130 is aimed at very powerful experts who genuinely use the extra stiffness.
It reduces unwanted shell deformation, improves forward power transfer and supports more consistent flex across temperature changes.
Yes. Tecnica places 100 mm in the MV range for normal to medium-width feet.
Do not choose by street-shoe size. Mondopoint, shell check, heel, instep and foot width all matter.
Yes. The C.A.S. shell and liner are designed for targeted bootfitting.
SF Sports
We do not automatically recommend the stiffer boot. Flex must match technique and strength.
A 100 mm MV only works precisely when heel, instep and shell length are correct.
LV, MV or HV should be chosen by foot shape, not image.
If MV 130, LV 110 or another model fits better, that is what we recommend.
We know when a 110 flex performs better on firm snow than an unnecessarily stiff boot.
The fit can be fine-tuned after the first days on snow.
