Holmenkol Speed Brush Wool

A good wax finish comes from a coordinated process. The Holmenkol Speed Brush Wool handles polishing and should not be confused with a coarse cleaning brush. Its merino wool is used on a compatible rotary system. Before buying, ask two questions: does the 120 mm brush fit your shaft, and does your chosen waxing process call for this type of finish?

Polishing is a separate working stage

The wool brush is intended for finishing. It does not automatically replace scraping off excess wax or preceding work with a suitable structure or brushing-out brush. Follow the sequence specified for the exact wax and its instructions.

Match shaft and working width

Before ordering, check that your holder’s fitting and usable width suit the 120 mm version. The brush body alone is not a complete tool. You should be able to guide it with control without the holder hitting the base or edge.

Clean tools preserve the finishing process

Store the brush clean and protected. If different wax systems must be processed separately, their tools must also stay separate. Pressing harder cannot make a contaminated brush suitable again.

Who is Holmenkol Speed Brush Wool right for?

Our recommendation: useful at a service station where rotary tools are already used with control and the finishing process is established. When starting out, clarify holder, guard and correct working method first. More speed or pressure cannot replace the right combination of wax and brush.

Use & selection

Preparation: Secure the ski and prepare the base according to the intended waxing stage.

Work: Choose rotation speed, direction and pressure according to the tool and wax instructions. Holmenkol recommends a protective mask when using rotary brushes; a guard and suitable workplace are also part of preparation.

Storage: Store the brush dry, clean and protected. Do not transfer wax residues indiscriminately to other finishing systems.
