HEAD Rebels Racing Backpack XL
The HEAD Rebels Racing Backpack XL is aimed at athletes and support staff who take more than a helmet and gloves to the mountain. Boots, protectors, spare clothing and small accessories each need a dedicated place. The XL provides plenty of room, but when fully loaded it also requires deliberate packing: good organisation at the start matters more than a main compartment filled to the brim.
Technical specifications at a glance
Find what you need quickly at the start
Keep frequently needed items in easily accessible compartments: dry gloves, goggles and your bib should not be buried under ski boots. The separate boot compartment helps organise the contents. Still protect wet or dirty items separately so moisture does not reach your spare clothing.
Choosing a large capacity is a deliberate decision
95 litres makes sense for substantial race equipment. A smaller backpack may be easier to handle for a short piste outing. Test the XL with a realistic load and against your height. A large backpack does not automatically fit a young athlete just because all their equipment fits inside.
Keep weight close to your back
The wide padded straps and reinforced back panel support carrying. Pack heavy items as close to your back as possible and balance left and right. Protect delicate lenses and store tools and sharp edges separately.
Who is HEAD Rebels Racing Backpack XL right for?
The XL is worthwhile if you regularly transport a complete race kit or carry substantial equipment as support staff. Choose according to packing needs and carrying comfort. If you often walk longer distances, test it loaded rather than only empty in the shop.
Use & selection
Packing order: Put boots in their designated compartment, keep dry clothing separate and frequently used items on top. Remove snow from forearm and shin guards before packing.
After training: Empty the bag completely and leave it open to dry. Damp boots left overnight in a closed backpack create unnecessary moisture and odours.
Transport: The external dimensions are large. Check airline baggage rules when flying; 95 litres does not guarantee cabin-baggage acceptance. Secure loose straps when loading.

Questions before you buy
How large is the backpack?
Capacity is 95 litres; the manufacturer’s dimensions are 54 × 69 × 33 cm.
Is there a separate ski-boot compartment?
Yes, this version has front access.
Is it suitable for children?
Height, load and carrying comfort are what matter. A child should always try this large XL format loaded.
Will a complete race kit fit inside?
It offers plenty of space; actual requirements depend on boot size, protectors and clothing. A trial pack is the best check.
Is it waterproof?
Full waterproofness is not claimed here. Add protection for delicate items or dry clothing in wet conditions.
Can I pack goggles without a case?
The accessory pocket helps keep things organised. For delicate lenses, we additionally recommend a suitable protective pouch or case.
How do I care for it?
Empty it after use, remove dirt gently and leave it open to dry. Follow the care label for cleaning products and washing.
