Dominator FFC Line
The Dominator FFC wax line stands for high-performance, fluorine-free waxes developed for training, racing, and all competition classes. Based on antistatic and nanotechnology, the FFC line combines strong glide properties with easy application, a wide range of uses, and excellent value for money. With Base Prep, glide waxes, and rub-ons, Dominator offers a sophisticated wax system for anyone who wants to adapt their skis quickly, precisely, and flexibly to different snow conditions.
Advantages of the Dominator FFC Line:
Fluorine-free and race-ready, easy to apply, wide temperature ranges for glide waxes, and flexible in use. The FFC pastes, in particular, are practical for on-the-go because they can be applied directly on-site, adjusted to current snow conditions, and avoid the risk of base damage due to excessive heat. Furthermore, they require significantly less equipment than traditional iron-on wax.
Dominator Elite Series
The Dominator Elite wax line stands for fluoride-free, high-end race performance at the highest level. As a professional competition series, it combines conditions-tuned glide waxes and overlays for different snow types and temperatures – from cold, aggressive snow to damp and very wet conditions. The line includes, among others, the Elite NS and OS waxes, the P variants, and the finish products Elite RR, Elite W, and Elite X.
The Elite line is particularly strong wherever maximum speed, direct reaction, and a clean finish are required. Dominator generally describes its waxing technology with reduced friction, optimized gliding properties, and high durability. The Elite X finish wax additionally relies on a specially developed polymer mixture for minimal friction, strong water repellency, and high abrasion resistance, while Elite RR is designed as a fluoride-free rub-on for quick refreshes before the start or between runs. For very wet snow and warm conditions, Elite W offers an antistatic, soft finish with particularly strong water repellency.
Advantages of the Dominator Elite wax line:
fluoride-free and race-ready, strong gliding properties in changing conditions, high water repellency, very good durability, and, depending on the product, fast, service-friendly application without extensive post-processing. This makes the Dominator Elite line the ideal choice for ambitious racers, service teams, and athletic riders who want to get the maximum out of their equipment.
Elite Overlays
The Dominator Elite Overlays wax line represents high-end, fluorine-free finishing products developed specifically for racing and for ambitious winter sports enthusiasts. Within the line, Dominator currently offers three overlays: Elite RR for quick touch-ups before the start and between runs, Elite W for very wet snow and warm conditions, and Elite X as a versatile high-end finish for snow temperatures from -10 °C and warmer. All products share a clear focus on maximum glide properties, high water repellency, and precise tuning for different racing conditions.
Advantages of Dominator Elite Overlays:
fluorine-free and race-ready, fast finishing performance directly before the start, strong water repellency in damp conditions, low friction for more speed, and depending on the product, easy application without elaborate equipment. Elite RR is particularly suitable for quick intermediate preparations without ironing or brushing, Elite W is designed for very wet snow and high air temperatures, and Elite X offers a specially developed polymer blend with minimal friction and high durability.
Dominator Legacy
The Dominator Legacy wax line stands for uncompromising racing performance and was developed to cover a particularly wide temperature range and increase success in uncertain snow conditions on race day. The line includes solid waxes and pastes and is designed to precisely tune skis to different snow types. Dominator differentiates between waxes for "old snow" on rounder, already transformed crystals and "new snow" for fresh or up to three-day-old, not yet transformed snow.
The Legacy line is particularly strong wherever maximum speed, flexible application options and precise race tuning are required. According to Dominator, these waxes are developed for an extremely wide range of applications and are available as classic solid wax as well as paste. This makes the line particularly interesting for racers, service teams and ambitious riders who want to be fast and controlled even in changing conditions.
Advantages of the Dominator Legacy wax line: wide temperature coverage, strong performance in uncertain race conditions, targeted tuning for new and old snow, available as solid wax and paste, as well as clearly race-oriented product variants for different conditions. On the Dominator website, the Legacy line is also described as a fluorinated racing blend used by the Dominator Race Service Team.
Dominator Fluorinated Finish
The Dominator Fluorinated Finish Wax line stands for maximum top speed, targeted finish tuning, and race-proven high-level performance. On the official Dominator website, this line is listed as “Fluoro Overlays” and currently includes the products Race Rocket, Q6, and Butter. The overlays are applied over the respective glide wax to, according to Dominator, increase speed and durability and to fine-tune the setup even further just before the start or between runs.
The line is particularly strong wherever every last tenth of a second counts. Race Rocket is a medium-fluorinated rub-on set for snow of varying ages and, according to Dominator, particularly useful for refreshing between heats and at multi-run events. Q6 is a very durable 100% fluoro powder overlay based on C6, which, according to the manufacturer, offers excellent top speed and is intended for old snow from 0 °C to -14 °C and new snow from 0 °C to -7 °C. Dominator also emphasizes that only minimal amounts are needed per application, making the overlays particularly economical.
Advantages of the Dominator Fluorinated Finish Wax line: more speed and durability over the glide wax, quick fine-tuning directly before the race or between runs, economical application due to very small product quantities, and a race-oriented selection for different snow types and areas of application.
